I was fortunate enough to see your live stream from Zurich the day it you findly broadcasted to the world. I am such a huge fan that I listened to and sang with you every day for the next month. Colors and Catch The Wind have always been my favorites as I was born in 1953. Could you possibly have a CD produced of the concert and please consider returning to Vancouver for one last performance.

  • NurseB
I love Donovan and have been a great listener since the early 60s. But he was not the first singer/songwriter to put poetry into song. Did the announcer forget Bob Dylan? Phil Ochs? etc etc.
  • Jen
What a wonderful gesture to share your concert with the virtual world too. Thanks Donovan.......you will always be one of a kind! Peace, love and joy to you from one who remembers the gentler days of flower power - and a time when I felt you sang "Jennifer Juniper" just for ME !! <3
  • Michael Robertson

Great show! pity my laptop kept freezing! will you be broadcasting the show again? I hope so!
  • Mike
Enjoyed the concert very much, Donovan...thank you. Blew my mind to hear so many of the early songs I treasure so much. I love every era of your long and wonderful career, but those simple folk tunes from the first two albums will always hold a special place in my heart. Who could have imagined I would hear "The Ballad of Geraldine" and "Donna Donna" from you in 2010? Wonderful!

Also was chuffed to hear "Sand and Foam" and "Isle of Islay," two long-time favorites.

Thanks again...all the best for all you do.
  • i've recommended your "sutras" to readers of my complete idiot's guide to buddhism ... & having enjoyed your presence since yr first 45 am stoked at yr new web empowerments ...

What a unique experience! Thank you , Donovan, for inviting the world to witness your live concert in Munich! I saw my friends in the audience and felt like I was right there with all of you even though I was on the other side of the globe. What an historic event! And thank you so much for blessing me with your beautiful music over the years. From teen age on to now your music has taken me to higher levels of life, love and happiness. Thank you! Blessings and

Donovan - Delighted your Munich show sold out and not at all surprised either! Glad you did The Enchanted Gypsy as I'm sure your audience was. Great show.
  • Dear Donovan,
Thank you so much for entertaining us all around the world at once! May it inspire and uplift us all for higher consciousness and more loving achievements in the new year, as both you and Linda exemplify.
All Love, Light, & Peace to you, my friend.

Donovan, what a beautiful soul we've been graced with here on earth. Come to Montreal so I can show you my Donovan tattoo!! ;)
  • Mike Zarro
Great performance by Donovan. Singing and playing were both Excellent. I would have loved to hear some new songs though. Nothing from Ritual Groove at all. What on earth is going on with this project? Same standard setlist like every performance. Almost predictable for the avid fan. Still an excellent performance! Thank you for sharing and Little White Road is always welcome.
  • I have to agree with you Mike. Before the concert I thought, I bet he starts with Enchanted Gypsy, and he did... I would live to hear the new music as well, but I have to say, the sound was superb.

Such a beautiful ambiente for the great Irish troubadour - not onlyIrish but the WORLD renowned poet, folksinger, troubadour and ambassador of peace! I only mentioned "Irish" here specifically as when WE GERMANS think of Ireland we think on one hand of Pubs and Irish beer, but on the other hand of IRISH FAIRIES immediately. I could not be in Munch, but saw the concert via your website. I am sure large flocks of Irish (as well as German and for that matter - Austrian as is just around the corner) fairies just LOVED to be present at this great memorable concert and literally flooded the beautiful Cuvilliés Theater with ist elaborate carved decoration of tiers, figures and floral ornaments during and their Troubadour of Love being present. To have the "Troubadour of the Flower Power era", the Barde of Meditation, Transcendence, Peace and Love, perform in THIS ambiente seemed soooo perfect, so appropriate! Donovan, and you just enchanted and captivated our hearts and minds again with your beautiful voice, your wonderful soft and gentle soul, and performance! Such a delight!!! And of course for a very noble cause - TRanscendental Meditation for school kids! Children SHOULD get to know their silent Self, the beautiful wholeness, fullness and love in their innermost consciousness. They KNOW of it, they immediately remember it when learning to meditate. It is so familiar - but we lose contact with it so often in the turmoil and pressure we all live in it and we need a reliable path (in fact a simple natural technique) to find back to it. That's totally clear to me! It is our birthright. It is our birthdright to be happy!! Some few minutes of meditation - and THERE you are again - in happiness! Let's give it to the kids! THe kids in Germany! And every esle as well! THANKS, Donovan for a lovely experience and for your great art and heart! Love.
  • NurseB
Sorry, but Donovan is Scottish, not Irish
